Guide: Sub Groups Setting

Welcome to the user guide for the Sub Groups Setting in Marketpulse OS CRM. This document provides a detailed, step-by-step tutorial on effectively using this module.

Sub Groups Setting

This data will be used for the Sub Group combobox in Add/Edit Item page.

Add New Sub Group

To add a new sub group to your organization:

  • Step 1. Go to Settingsmenu under Inventorymodule from the left sidebar.
  • Step 2. Select Sub Groupsmenu -> Click on the Add Sub Groupbutton.
  • Step 3. In the Add Sub grouppage, fill the following details: Subgroup code: Enter the code for the sub group.Subgroup name: Enter the name of the sub group.Group name: Double-click to select the Group Name. The group names are pulled from the Commodity Groupsetting. Only the commodity groups marked as Displaywill show in the Group Namecolumn.Order: Enter the display order number. Sub groups with smaller numbers will appear at the top of the sub group dropdown list.Display: Check this box to make the sub groupvisiblein the sub group dropdown list (used in the Itemsmenu → Add/Edit Item form). Uncheck tohidethe sub group.Note: Enter any additional notes if necessary.

  2. Subgroup name: Enter the name of the sub group.

  6. Note: Enter any additional notes if necessary.
  • Step 4. Click Savebutton

Edit Sub Group

To edit the details of an existing sub group :

  • Step 1. Go to Settingsmenu under Inventory module from the left sidebar
  • Step 2. Select Sub Groupsmenu ->Hover over the sub group to be edited and click Edit
  • Step 3. Make the necessary changes and click Savebutton

Delete sub group

If a sub group is no longer operational, you can delete it. To delete a sub group:

  • Step 1. Go to Settingsmenu under Inventory module from the left sidebar
  • Step 2. Select Sub Groupsmenu ->Hover over the sub group to be deleted and click Delete
  • Step 3. Confirm your selection in the following pop-up. The sub group will be deleted.
